Karen Josue

Karen Josue is a New York-based interior designer. She brings international sophistication coupled with simple elegance into her design work, creating interiors that are unique, and at the same time comfortable and practical. Having lived in Japan and traveled extensively around the world, her sense of style evolved. Her designs combine antiques and vintage pieces with contemporary ones, resulting in eclectic environments tailored to the tastes and needs of each individual client.

Karen received a BFA in interior design with honors from the New York School of Interior Design, a BA in art history with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School. After interning with Vicente Wolf and Alexa Hampton, and working for other interior design and architecture firms, Karen opened her own firm. She is a New York State Certified Interior Designer (CID); nationally licensed by NCIDQ; a certified LEED Green Associate; and an ASID Professional Member.
